It's never too late

It's never too late

Stardust lingered in my eye. A twinkle from a long goodbye. He sent me down to a world of wonder and every step was my biggest blunder. I saw the destruction in my wake. How many mistakes can I make? Scratching at the bars of this cage. The years ticking down showing my age. I scream at the sky why did you make me? He answered back why did you forsake me? Bent on one knee I pray for forgiveness. He opened his heart and repaired all my weakness. Miracle after miracle he fixed my mistakes. Beyond all surprise he had what it takes. In my old age and close to my death. I think of his kindness and I breathe my last breath.
