Poem -

It's Not Me, It's You

Fuck the cliché
I've got something to say

It's not me it's you!

You cheated and lied
And laughed when I cried
You let me believe
That I wasn't naive
You raised my self-esteem
Then tore me apart at the seams

You say I left you
But that's not true

You left me
Don't you see?

When you slid your dick
Inside another chick
That sealed our fate
That's why I'm irate
You won't take the blame
Because you never came!

You look at me and scoff
Saying because you didn't get off
That you didn't really cheat
Your laughter on repeat
Saying you stopped in time
That a mistake isn't a crime

The worst part of it is
You really believe this
Believe it's alright
Think you'll win this fight

Well let me tell you
That's just not true
I'm walking out of your life
Pitying your future wife
Telling the truth when I say

It's not me it's you!
