IT'S NOT MY FAULT

IT'S NOT MY FAULT

I have been kicked and also set alight
It's not my fault I have no home for the night
I have been spat at and someone has thrown a punch
It's not my fault that I'm hungry and want some lunch

I have been called all names under the sun
It's not my fault I used drugs for recreational fun
I have been arrested by the police for improper behaviour
It's not my fault my anger started to waiver

Everyone says it's my fault I'm in this mess
I'm sorry but society thinks of the homeless less and less

What is Christmas?

What is Christmas?

The moon watched, quite closely, a little brown mouse
Closing the door of his warm little house....
