IVE GOT THE BLUES

I woke up one morning feeling kind of sad
It was the worst damn feelings I've ever had 
I look to the heavens and said I'll be ok
And I prayed to the Lord to take the blues away 

I went to the shower to wash the blues away
Hoping to have myself a good ole day
Just then I heard a knocking at my front door
And those damn blues feelings 
Came back like before 

My father and my brother 
Were standing on the the front porch
My brothers leg was busted 
And fathers' throat was sore

My heart felt sick because I could feel their pain
And what you what the heck you know
Here comes those blues again 

We jumped in my Cadillac 
And headed down the road
To silence the noise of my brother 
I turned on the radio

The DJ made an announcement 
Of some other cats pain
And as fast as I was driving 
Here comes those damn blues again.
