If anyone tried to bother you, they’d taste the “Cody Attack”!
I remember the first day I met you, I was scared, had never been away;
From my Mommy and my siblings, to nurture me and play!

But the moment that you saw me, you ended all my fears;
You opened up your heart and soul, then drew me very near!
After that I never worried, for I had my dearest Bro;
Whom I loved with every ounce of me, and followed where you’d go!

Eventually when I grew full size, I became the Guardian true;
For your sweetness got you in trouble, and a dog would snap at you!
But then they’d see my bared teeth, I’d say “Snap at him again”;
“And I’ll rip your freakin’ head off, and to the Doctor you I’ll send”!

You’ve been away for over two years, but we’re together once again;
This time it will be forever, the two of us will spend!
Then someday Mommy and Daddy will join us, and we’ll never be apart;
Our brand new life in Heaven, the four of us will start!
