I've Never

I've Never

I’ve never been to space before
I’ve never walked the ocean floor
How can I wonder,
When I cannot find my door?

I’ve never kissed a woman’s lips
Nor yet placed my hands on her hips
How can I find love,
When my heart too quickly slips?

A man once told me to be bold
Life can be hard, stand fast, and hold
How can I be brave,
The man left me beaten and cold

All of these things I’ve never done
My naiveté compares to none
How can I live,
When my cowardice now has won?
