Poem -
JACK POTTS
Jack Potts certainly doesn't live up to his nameÂ
One of life's homeless such a terrible shameÂ
Does have three choices where to sleep tonightÂ
Bus stop,shop door or park bench out of sightÂ
Decides on the bench he can stretch his legsÂ
Room for his hat as he mutters and duly begsÂ
A pound for a cuppa will keep the chill awayÂ
Looks in his hat nothing for Jack Potts todayÂ
Isn't long tonight before a young copper arrives
Not for a hand out and definitely no high fives
The copper holds his nose at the terrible stenchÂ
Time for Jack Potts to be leaving the park bench

I couldn’t agree more with Gwendoline on this , it’s a sad reality of all the ones that suffer. We should always appreciate what we do have , there’s always someone with less :/.Â
