JANUARY CARNIVALS: DAY 1, POET WILLIAMSJI MAVELI CO-WRITES WITH POETESS FLOWER GIRL, FIRST KISS OF THE SEASON, SO SWEET.........

SYNOPSIS

The New Year’s Day, 1st January, 2016, according to the Gregorian calendar January 1, is one of the trendiest occasions in India. Many people throughout India celebrate this festive time with loved ones or in large gatherings.

People in all parts of India dress colorfully and indulge in fun filled activities such as singing, playing games, dancing, and attending parties. Night clubs, movie theatres, resorts, restaurants and amusement parks are filled with people of all ages.

People greet and wish each other Happy New Year. Exchanging messages, greeting cards and gifts are part and parcel of the New Year celebration.

JANUARY CARNIVALS

You gave yourself to me,
Like a flower that blossoms at night,
Whose presence is known by the dew-drops
That drips from  your red cherry fruits lips,
Your body odour shed through the darkness,
As the first steps of spring are
by the buds that thicken the twigs
You break upon my slumber like waves
At the high tide, and my heart is drowned under
Surging love songs, my heart knew of your
Arrival as the night feels the approach of dawn.
The clouds are aflame and my sky fills
With a great revealing showers of lust.

This flower blooms where darkness thrives
Cause that's where our lips embrace 
Fragrance of our luv fills the air
First kiss of the season so sweet 
Feel within my soul a newness of life 
As our seeds permeant the ground 
Luv between us grows in endless measure
Letting no storm come between us 
Awaken from your sleep my luv
My branches reaching towards you
To forever hold this sacred luv as we know
Hearts singing a new song of the day 
As the sun kisses the dew on our petals
Trembling from feeling the lust of you
