Java saves
or so it seems
a cup of coffee
to escape your dreams
when tiredness comes
to greet your side
the caffeine rush
sleep be denied
to stay alert
try espresso
this drink will make
the Sandman go
you're riding high
on coffee brown
but soon you will
come crashing down
so drink your Java
if you must
but let the Sandman in
to spread his dust
for sleep you need
to be recharged
for sanity
to remain at large
