Poem -

Jealous Guy.

Her eyes coloured milky green.
Christ they’re the strangest eyes I’ve ever seen.
I approached her and said hello.
She smiled with teeth that were as white as snow.
What is your name i did calmly say.
She answered kathleen but said her friends call her kay.
I asked would she like a drink.
She said yes get me a gin that’s coloured pink.
Together we sat and smiled and sipped our pink gin.
Then i felt a punch on my Kurt Douglas chin.
The angry voice said hey that’s my wife.
And on me he pulled a flick blade knife.
Deep into my heart the knife did stab.
And from his hand the knife kay did grab.
He turned on his heels and away he ran.
Kay shouted after him you bastard you jealous man.
The next thing i knew from above i was looking down.
And on my body i wore a white heavenly gown.
All around my deceased body people cried.
Then i knew my life on earth had abruptly died.
