jealousy ignites

jealousy ignites

I’m not going to start an uncontrolled fire,
if a jealous flame ignites in me.
I’d rather it burn all of whats in me, knowing it will go out,
if I stayed cool to your touch, warm to your love, eye to eye, then to be fired up, scolding hot vibes, igniting you, for you to turn around then cast the flames over both of us.
I’d rather burn alone then to watch me start one with the one I love.
I’m not going to let you watch me burn, to watch everything we built, burn.
When the ashes are left, and settle inside me, when the fire dies down, and it’s all over, it was really only a thought, that deep, evil, heart felt, mind tormenting, desire, was only out of love that I would nearly burn us both to dust. Till our death, over that feeling, that fueling fire, because I want you so much. That I let a thought, a little entity, nearly be the fire in control.
