Jill’s Tales💕

Chapter Ten: Michael and Jenni’s second joy of bundles 💕

Jill’s Tales💕

Emily Grace was born on Wednesday the twenty fourth of October 2007

Mammy and Daddy’s second little bundle of seventh heaven

Such  a sweet special little girl, forever running around after everybody, with her busy mind in a whirl

Well how on earth can this possibly be ? Emily and Lauren are two sisters yet they seem as opposite as can be

Mind you their baby years were just the very same, haha both of them learned to talk and could soon clearly say their name

Emily was a very bright little button too, and within a blink of her tiny eyes, she would quickly mimic you

So she crawled and she toddled and was chattering away, full of her very busy beans and having great fun every day

Everything that Lauren got, well Emily wanted to.. so we would try to purchase two of each together to save any hullaballoo

Haha tho they were very close in years and played together lots, they had there moments of squibble- squabble these two different tiny tots

But that is just what close sisters do, tho they can act as enemies, they love each other too

Emily Grace was a small bundle of fun, tho she had her fiesty times when all was said and done

We soon realised that this little lass had a mighty strong determination, and found difficulty being understood amidst her frenzied frustration

A born leader right from the very start, and if you recognised her reasoning she would warm the cockles of your heart...

Well Emily started nursery and then playgroup, as her sister went to school and it was soon to become apparent that this littleun was no fool

She learned life’s lessons in but the drop of a hat, but Emily liked to make her presence known and that was that

But bless her little cotton socks she was so very funny,  forever on the go just like a hopping easter bunny

Both girls grew up with Hecky, a black and white Spaniel and Fern a black Labrador, but the angels took them both to heaven and made all their hearts very sore

So Mammy and Daddy bought two new puppy pets, and Willow and Lily helped to heal some of their frets

Now twas the night before Christmas, Santa Claus was around, he was tip toing in the farmyard and saw a tiny kitten on the snowy ground

Well he wrote ‘Luckyboy’ on a little tag and he put him down in the Millhouse beside the Christmas tree.. of course both tiny girls were in their comfy beds as sleepy as can be

Well early that morning as the girls hurried down the stairs, their eyes were like saucers when they saw those presents on the chairs

But then they heard a strange ‘Meow’ and it seemed to come from a cardbox under the Christmas tree somehow

Now can you just imagine Lauren and Emily’s surprise, when Luckyboy popped out of that cardboard box.. well they just couldn’t believe their eyes!!!

I took my three Granddaughters to the pet shop to look at the tiny pets, they all loved the hamsters and guinea pigs hidden in their cages with hay pouches in tiny nets

Emily’s best friend Livia had just moved house to live with her parents far away, and as a farewell present she left her very own little hamster called Spark for Emily with their goodbye’s of dismay

Emily and Lauren had alot of horse riding lessons from when they were only small and took to this like little ducks to water, luckily neither of them had a fall

So both of them ride Billy boy as they jump him over the horse poles, competing with each other and giving theirselves little goals

I used to go a’hunting for ‘Geocaches’ all around the countryside, and Emily would always come with me as we would search far and wide

She was such an inspiration with her boundless dedication..so we had many a fun time together just the pair of us on our own, and whenever she came along,  I’d  have one of the nicest days I’d ever known

Haha as I reminisce us hiking ontop of moorlands and high ground, Emily was in awe at some old war trenches that we had found

… she picked up a long piece of knobbly wood, lean and thick..and again bless her little cotton socks, coz she just couldn’t wait to show her Mam and dad her very own wooden walking stick

Just recently I have been walking out on little rambles and Emily has been joining me every now and then amidst the bracken and the brambles

.. and to mark each occasion Emily, will do a perfect handstand on her chosen location.. I click my camera button on my smartphone to hold this lovely memory..So that one day Emily will look at these old photographs for her special treasury..

Emily can run like the wind in a relay, she is extremely sporty I really have to say..she has completed many times in the junior great North run with her certificates and awards..tee hee Emily races like a rocket and well deserves her rewards

She is very musical and sings as sweet as any mocking bird, as she stands with her school friends and her lovely voice can be heard

This chapter now leaves me with but nothing else to say, that our Emily Grace is a simply perfect not so little now Granddaughter in every way !!!
