Jonezin'

Jonezin'

Reaching out 'cross the night's sky, evidence of a sleepless night
the pain shown deep in my eye, heaven sent my seeking sight
Looking toward the moon for answers, no verbal reply
the stars just the same, enhancing my sight, a natural high
Attraction runs deep, the heat visible from my person
subtraction from we shall speak, is it you that lies hurting

I feel a smidgen of the pain in your eyes through this, William. It's painfully beautiful!
