Joseph

Joseph

Woke up this morning
and found myself
relieved
I am free to think
I am liberated to dream,
hope, conquer
the missions
the challenges and unforeseen
obstacles that lie in front of me
The prophet is never accepted
in his homeland
Acceptance though
is over rated
and I
Don't belong there
anyway
my anchor
lifted from my childhood
and the love ones
that knew me then
a long time ago
Your perception of
me
is as faded as the polaroid
that it was made from
Uneducated, slow,
being ridiculed
for having apraxia
were taunts
that provided you
superiority
the sting now
has no effect
I surpassed you
you have no power
credentials are
as valid as the
worthless doctorate
you bought
I stand
I am a warrior
As this is what
Christ enabled
me to be
It was not my choice
to wear the "coat of many colors"
it was the destiny
that the Father in heaven
provided me
Deal with it......

Hello Greg...

I have been working on a write for a few days...

You won!

Great write!

Thank you for sharing...

By the time you see this it will be turned into ashes...

Yours is so much better than mine...
