The Journey

A lover crossed inside a wood

The bridge above a river flow

To cross it pondered if he should

For love’s a tricky place to go

Reward beseeched him to the side

Where boundless love abundant be

His bride of future to decide

It seemed too far off to foresee

But yet he ventured to the path

The shaky bridge would hold for now

His step was careful, swift and fast

His heart aflame with love endow’d

He crossed the river in the wood

Without a care of what’s below

Continue, pondered if he should

For love’s a tricky place to go

He looked to velvet clouds above

So fortified with strength of love
