Warmer Weather

Warmer Weather

I never thought that I would know

A view as pretty as the snow!

Except the ice like frozen lakes

That bends my arms until I break

My long lost coat which leaves me bare

As I stand tall through chilly air

My friends have left for warmer days

Which leaves me lonely for a phase

But when the sun returns again

I hope that they return, my friends.

For though they chirp and howl and crow,

I cannot stand this awful snow.
