Journey Of Dreams
I constantly paint pictures of us in my mind
Where it is a better place we manage to find
Where we share so much love on a journey
Where what lays before us is such a mystery
Always striving to get more out of each day
Learning much about ourselves on the way
Letting fate decide what will be our destiny
Letting a winding road of dreams set us free
Is this imagination or can it ever come true ?
Do you envisage an escape from hell as I do ?
Leaving all of our troubles and worries behind,
Or will I only ever be painting pictures in my mind ?

I'm happy with my lot but there are many who aren't............ given the stress of living in no-hope towns where the economy has been ripped apart in the last few years by the downturn. I wrote this thinking of them.

Sometimes the irony, coincidence things like that can create it's own problems...
I have seen where people accuse people of copying their work...
So many times it just seems like so many of us are on the same page, same direction in thought, like reading each others minds or something...
This is just another fine example.

Even if we write on the same subject matter all minds approach the work differently and produce poetry in their style !
We may have occasions when poems are similar but in their structure and outlook they will vary. The way you write is unique. It is so engaging pulling the reader into a scene with great dexterity and skill that few can match. I would not hold back due to your concern as you are a poet that makes the difficult look easy. Others struggle to replicate your talent.
I would love to see your work on the same subject as me. It would inspire me to improve !!!

Hey Richard. A lovely write . I know of pain because of my divorce and trying to find which road to go down . It took a year just to regain my heart for a fresh start . I am glad I waited it was worth the weight In gold for my lovely sweetheart. Hugs to you rock
