Juggernaut

Juggernaut

Juggernaut.
Lee.

Born cynical with a hint of coy,
Just another broken toy.
A pick me-up when your life is low,
When there’s nowhere left to go.
Making money for a life to rent,
Proved underwhelming and overspent.
Alarm clock chimes; your ball and chain,
Late for work, miss your train.
But…
Empty promises beneath the sheets,
Faking joy at family meets.
Savoir faire with a dash of charm,
Facts not emotions causing harm.
And…
Choose to change when the choice is yours:
Smash glass ceilings,
Kick-down locked doors.
Can’t be a rose without any thorns,
Every second stars are born.
Love for sale that can’t be bought,
Own your road, juggernaut.
