Poem -

Just a dream

I had a dream last night
About my long gone father
He was sittin on a beach
Where there were shellfish for to gather.
Strange though,
He looked so young
And I had to revert
To my old scottish tounge
I said tae muh daddie
You were a bonnie laddie
But why are  ye in a suit
He said Ah thought ye'd never come
Its here ah met ye'r mum
Here in the bonnie Isle O Bute
Well the dream faded
Left me jaded and a little sad
But hey I:d have to say
It was sae guid tae see muh Dad.
