Poem -

Just a hungry Girl In a lonely world

Laying in an extremely lonely bed,
Plenty of thoughts running through my small head,
Like the last time my poor tummy was fed.
I could really go for a nice cheese spread,
And if I don’t eat soon I could be dead.
I am trying to just look straight ahead,
Although I can only see my deathbed.
At this point I would even eat white bread,
Life was easier when I was breastfed.
I asked for food but I was left on read,
My phone soon went off and a tear now shed.
“Really Tay? there is food downstairs” it said.
