JUST CAN'T STOP THE RAIN

Though tried and true, forever will remain

once everlasting in perception, results in pain

you give your all, time and time again

yet no amount of trying can stop the rain

this cycle of hurt, combined with short time joy

evolutions of growth, yet still there's the void

your all has been given, yet somehow it seems

not good enough, not accepted, not sereen

what else is left, when your best falls short

tired of giving up, tired of running the never ending race

what once was misery turned joy, turned pain

no matter how hard you try, still you can't stop the rain
