Just One ** Wish **

Just One ** Wish **

** Just One Wish **

If one day I could have just One Wish,
I would Wish for a Life I could live in bliss.
Just an average life would be just fine.
To wake up in the morning and call it mine.
I dont want riches, or to be better than you,
to be an average "Joe" and to pay my dues.
To be an honest man is for all I would ask,
nothing elaborate, that would require a mask.
I would go to work to earn an honest living,
and create a world with a family I could live in.
To build a home filled with comfort and Love,
with a wife and children that were sent from above.
To consider my neighbours, and give an helping hand,
to lead a quiet life and to help where I can.
To be jealous or envious I need never consider,
but to sleep peaceful at night, I would prefer to deliver.
I know you may think that this wish would be wasted,
asking for gifts that can very easily be tasted.
These simple requests everyone of us can achieve,
without asking for wishes, or without trying to deceive.
But for me its down-hill, my life has now passed.
I want to pass onto others this simple repast.
For all I have asked, I should have long ago considered,
without asking for "Wishes", that are not so easily delivered.
