Poem -

just this...

grant me
~~~~~~
just this
~~~~~

when I am
~~~
quite dead
~~~~~~~

these cats and this dog
and that book and my bed

then...

arrange my loved photos
add a lamplight's gold glow
bid the outside hail thunder
gift me pillows soft as snow

tell my loved ones we'll meet
In eternity's wealth
then grant me lie down
with the gift of no breath

M ~
