JUSTIFIED OR NOT

 
Kept myself away from the media hype yesterday 
Sure it is sad when somebody has passed away 
Not sure though if all the coverage was justified 
I decided that I wouldn't go along for the ride 

Did see a picture of the Queen sitting all alone 
Far different I guess from sitting on a throne
Do we like to see grief and a person's sorrow ? 
Tears should be private today and tomorrow 

Everyone will have an opinion and a point of view
Happy the weather was kind and skies were blue
It will be hard for our dear Queen now I guess
I'm confident though she'll get out of this mess
