KILL ALL OF US

KILL ALL OF US

KILL ALL OF US

Ricardo Antonio Garcia

Police march like military men, cold as a blade

directed by higher mentalities

and they behave like a robotic arm of justice.

Suicides and broken marriages

and the alcohol consumed makes them worse.

It’s a curse

sending a bullet into an innocent victim, smirking

knowing the badge will protect their brutality

tarnishing in the Sun of ages

for their has always been an evil spine

to their legacy.

Has a Senator noticed that his Congress has not

Vindicated or curbed the atrocities

whose performance

has decelerated behind the dark militia masks

and hardware to kill many on the street?

If we are waking up

its time to take an Alka-Seltzer and face the day

when these brutalities will cease.

What puzzles me in the donning of the mindset

how American born and raised adults

inhumanly task manage fellow human beings

by smashing heads or breaking arms.

Shall we all get into the ring with these beasts

and prove them the power of our civil liberties?

They cannot kill all of us- or can they?
