Killed Dead ( pt. 8)

Sweet Promise

Killed Dead ( pt. 8)

She put the gun back in her purse
And walked over my body once more

Pretended to pray in anguish
That she did not distinguish
The life that gave her stars

I lay there in torrent
Awash in tears of my vampiric status

She returns with that black gun

Tells me sweet lies I readily accept
She turns that gun on me

And tells me a story of jealousy
Pulls the trigger
Says the final goodbye and all I see is a tragic horizon
Once again I am killed dead...
And I hear her whisper a heavenly promise...
