Poem -

King

Burning burning burning...
I've had these lyrics in my mind for almost a week.
I wasn't sure I should watch it.
As a fan, I was afraid I was going to be disappointed.
My boy, My boy...
Was I wrong!
It made me listen to his songs again.
Some of them I didn't even know or remember.
and that's when I realised how big a star he was.
How important to the world he became and I cried.
I knew the end, of course. But I cried...
My boy, my boy...
What a beautiful man he was.
A gentle soul, I feel.
A soul driven by passion and moves from another world.
I was far from being born when he left but I miss him now.
His soul was tired out because he gave so much,
His style, his voice, his humour are forever stuck with us.
His life lives on through our memory
He will forever be our King
eventhough his middle name was Misery.
