Poem -

The Kiss

The anticipation is only the beginning;

The heat of your lips, the slight tremble as they brush against mine.

Almost breathless.

The perfect application of pressure...

My heart races.

This moment is encapsulated in darkness, the feeling alone is enough.

Eyes closed- gazing into yours would be overwhelming.

It says more to me than words ever could.

That moment I feel is fragile, like rain droplets suspended on a cobweb.

But held in that minute is everything I need.
