Kissing Blade

As the cold blade
gently kisses myĀ
skin
pent up emotions
disburse fromĀ
within

The sharpness
licks my tender
thigh
breathing out
an extended
sigh

Bittersweet
blood
trickling down
my leg
What's theĀ
alternative
to this
I beg

Distracted by
a new type of
pain
a composure
of calmness
I now regain

The soothing warmth
of my body wine
is a beautiful comfort
to this soul of mine

I try so hardĀ
to resist the call
but on my skin
the knife begs to fall
