Kitchen Sink

Do you ever feel like a kitchen sink?
A dirty cup that someone used to drink?
Left in this place where you wait to be cleaned?
My mind is like a sink.
Dirty with uncleansed thoughts and emotions.
Waiting for someone to roll up their sleeves.
Waiting for someone to fix me.
Looking pathetic in your kitchen.
I wait here for an empathetic person.
Will someone stop by?
Will someone clean me?
I'm waiting for this knife to cut me.
Cutting my insides.
Scraping against my unforgiving mind.
I'm a kitchen sink to you.
Used and pathetic.
Please save me.
Please see me.
Roll up your sleeves and cleanse me.

Halo Pain

I love everything you write. Always words of art. Even though sometimes dark and even scary.

I hope venting these emotions helps to maintain peace within you.
