Knock down, bounce back

in life I get knocked down,
but I’ll eventually rise again,
as until I’m dead,
ill always find a way back,
even from the worst of pains.
physically and mentally,
i know I can get there,
if I didn’t,
then it wouldn’t be me.
this special James.
in not all but others eyes I’m doomed?
but through mine own eyes,
i learn my body,
help it to thrive and I can’t possibly do that if I’m not alive.
each time I’m knocked down and get back again  I thrive,
i find new strengths,
that through my heart,
soul and mindset have blossomed,
blossomed into another of my new lives.

mentally and physically,
through my own strength and solid will,
Or is it just pure luck that
im living still?
5 months past my use by date,
so every living day on this earth is cherished,
right down to my kids cuddles,
kisses,
tickles and laughs,
right down to their bedtime baths.
i hope in them I’ve enstilled how to do things right,
the bevan way!
