Knowing

Knowing

  Light and Darkness
    And in-between
            Know
 That silent shadows
    Are rarely seen.

     Trees that lived
For one-hundred years
             Know
The flowers blooming
     In an open field.

   An owl that hunts
   On a starlit night
           Knows
   That life depends
   On a fruitful flight.

  A man whose ego
  Speaks who he is
       Knows not
     That true self
      Lives within.
