Lack of thoughts

I sit here trying to write, with all my might

I can’t

There is simply nothing of importance I can think of

I considered a rant but merely drew a blank

As I continued to write confidence simply sank

Every potential idea deteriorated 
With that, it left me with one thought

The thought of a lack of thoughts

My absence of ideas led me to a mediocre poem

With​ that in mind
Enjoy 

As I sit here rereading this catastrophe of words

I think should it really be this hard?
Clawing away at strands of desperate thoughts

If only they could be bought
Will it suffice?
It must.
