Lady Justice Hidden
Lady Justice do you hide?
I seek the truth through you,
Your blindfold is thick yet shear
Where lies are hidden tooΒ
Why hold the scales so proudly?Β
When you dip your swordΒ in bias,
Loss overwhelming with sadnessΒ
Swiftly judging innocents in defianceΒ
Jurors and Defendants look to you?
Judges and Lawyers are bought,
All hope in fairness is lost in one day
When Justice is all that they soughtΒ
How does Justice go on each day?
Failing us all too many times,
On a whim of a corrupt judge
Bias was the player in the crimes

How is lady justice bias?
Lady Justice is biased due to the corruption in the courts, primarily Family Court. For instance, the judge who had worked with the opposing attorney years ago in the DAβs office thus not giving the other side a fair shake. Doing a favor for that attorney by letting him win his case, while destroying a family in the process. Then the judges and attorneys socialize at βtheirβ club discussing cases and their clients. Also there are attorneys who are afraid to argue in front of certain judges and will drop their client right before a hearing (that actually did happen). Or an attorney will hand off a client to another attorney in the firm to avoid arguing before a certain judge. Also family members working in the courthouse who are again involved with the opposing side, which is a conflict of interest.
