Blooms like sea serpents in wild hues.
Rolled across the spring lawn.
Wild riots of color in parade.
Revolting against the staid winter.
It was no contest.
Spring had arrived.
With the gentlest breezes and rain.
In the background birds singing arreas
I am lost in it.
I am lost in you.
For this spring is special.
It brought me love.
After the barren winter of my years>
Where I was bereft of comfort.
Where I felt hidden under the glass of life.
I saw you.
My facade melted and I took a breath.
Moved into the color of life without dreaming.
Because it was real.
As is your perfume and your hair.
As is your silken blouse and skirt.
The lipstick you choose to wear.
The way you bite your lip.
It all entices me and excites me.
To pursue ....
To win you over....
To know you in all ways... 
You ... my lady of spring.
Are the reason I have been reborn.
Now I must walk that mile and obtain desire.
