Lakes and Mountains

Lakes and Mountains

The cold, crisp fog begins to settle on the water;
Droplets of mist fall down onto the horizonĀ

Calm, silent, stillĀ
The wind freezes, the lake ripples as the trees sway to the silenceĀ

The tall, rocky mountain stands above the fields;
A crack of sun shines through a broken boulderĀ

Bright, blinding, quietĀ
The sun rises at the crack of dawn, the day is nearĀ
