Lakota
Let My Dance Save You

I walked to the beat of my heart
I followed with flames in my sight
The powwow lights were showing strongÂ
As I approached the calling night
The calling was from sacred and crying songs
But, no tears came from them
Only a vision of a girl
Dressed in a fancy shawl
Dancing in her all
Dancing to live
She walked towards me and smiledÂ
"Hello, I am from South Dakota.
I am Lakota."
I was struck, taken aback
Instantly fell in love
With this Native angel who knew
exactly how to strike
And my heart fell victim,
surrendered to her
And I lie in a coma
Forever to feel in love
With this girl called Lakota

Woww she looks so gorgeous in her traditional costume, I admire red Indian wings feathery attires as I'm a bird lover and I love the flying fairy look it gives them. Your poem is expressed in a charming imaginative way , so wonderful!!! Kudos!!
