On Land And By Sea
Alright my cosmo family and fellow poets I have for you some fun interactive poetry inspired by Val And Tony's challenge the other day. I hope everyone participates and I'll start it off with four lines of scenic imagery there is no format other than four lines and does not have to rhyme just give us a scene of my topic full of imagery. Have fun I know I will reading everyone's installments.
Deafly quiet, by the time sun shine smiles
Upon sleepy houses retreating black shades of night,
Lion roaring oceans reflect in brilliant blue
While steadily sailing ships bathe in nova flourishing light.

Rising sun captured by droplets of shimmering dew
Glistening pastures blanketed by a misty hue
Beauty defined by all here, tranquil and serene
Heading out into this idyll is stepping in to a dream.

Hey Devon on land by the seaÂ
Looking out beyond the masts ,as the wind blows them so carfullyÂ
The ship was built with big strong men beside the ocean always in blueÂ
Plotting a course to find the infamous fountain of youth which is in full viewÂ
Sitting back relaxing now with a strong glass of whiskey to help sleep the whole night throughÂ
Nice HRL, like how they quest for Ponce De Leon's fountain of youth and sleep better with a head full of whiskey. Thanks man for taking part it is fun to see the spin everyone has lut on this. High five to you Rovk.
