Lapis
Lapis
Gold flecked with silver
A most intriguing blue
Honest deep and serious
A simple thumb print
Black smudged
Moonstruck kind of hue
Elsewhere though
The mountains stole the rain
Now crystal clear and true
Methodology suspended
In a micro climate
