Last Kiss

Your soft kiss makes it so I can hear your steady breathing, which calms me down for what's going to be our last kiss. Red blotches slowly appear on my cold naked body. As you rub my back, my anxiety relaxes and I control my breathing once again. I can still feel your morning breath on my cheek. I can't help but think we had it all, you had my heart and soul and you ruined it for me and my future lovers. The thought of you saying the exact same lovely things to another, makes me sorrow for months. During the long cold nights my face is hot, tears streaming down, I wonder if you actually loved me.

Oh wow, Alexia. This is really sad.
God, it hurts soooooo damn bad to lose we love someone this much.
When they go, they take a small piece of us with them.
It tears a hole in the fabric of our hearts.
And, just like any pain, it will one day ease. But it will never go away completely.
Any fabric—even the human kind—can be stitched-up and repaired over time. But no matter how skilled the seamstress, the fact there was a hole there still remains evident.
It leaves scars...
Don't be afraid to love again. You'll miss out on so much if you do.
Trust me on this...
