Last night

Last night I dreamed of you,
it was short but strong,
feelings of sorrow and confusion,
It was much the same and like the rest.
Last night I dreamed of you,
It is all I can do to remember.
Then the pain comes each morning,
A reminder of the truth.
That a dream is only a dream,
I push for reality and fight the fact that last night I only dreamed of you.
