Last Night I Slept

Last night I slept 
It feels strange to wake up after having slept so much like I did 

I slept for 12 or 13 hours between last night and yesterday 

 

In the nothingness there is no sleep 

 

If I did I don't ever remember it 

 

It was like I just exist

 

 so I cant say I was even awake And 

 

Can't explain it 

 

Except you just exist 

 

There is no such thing asleep or awake or wanting things or needing things youre just there and that there is nothingness

 

But I slept and I slept so good 

 

But I feel different after having slept like I did 

 

It lets me know that everything's okay for now 

 

But I'll never forget 

 

And I know somehow 

 

What happens when we die 

 

We return to the nothingness 

 

But hopefully we won't be able to make the connection 

 

That's something else does exist 

 

Besides nothingness 

 

I'm not going to sit here and say that I know the meaning of life from this experience 

 

But I know what life is 

 

And what it means to exist there's a difference 

 

And I don't think It's about doing all things in this world that there is 

 

But more so it's simply 

 

Life is just the appreciation to live 

 

Simply take it in 

 

There's so much about us 

 

That makes us know that we're alive 

 

At first I thought it was just feeling feelings 

 

I'm so excited to be able to feel again

 

And I thought I knew 

 

That I was alive that I lived

 

Because I had feelings 

 

But even feelings we feel 

 

Things in so many different ways 

 

To feel is more than just feeling feelings and feeling things

 

But that's not all there is that lets us know we live or we're alive 

 

There's so much more 

 

That comes with 

 

What it means to be alive and to live 

 

Because we can exist 

 

But existing doesn't mean to live 

 

You can exist but not be alive 

 

We come from nothingness 

 

I'll never be able to explain 

 

Exactly what that is 

 

Just that I breathe more deep 

 

I've learned to slow down 

 

I just want to take it in 

 

I noticed everything 

 

That lets me know i live

 

And I'll never forget 

 

For nothingness where I just exist
