Poem -

Later

I run because I am lost.
I am lost because I am running with no direction.
When I stand, I feel alone.
I feel alone because I am standing with no connection.

I yearn for something more,
I yearn for something greater.
This feeling is intense, it's raw,
And yet I push to fix it later.

But later is a shadow,
I chase but never catch.
And ahead the path narrows,
To a door with a latch.

I have a key, but need a code.
I have a code, but need a key.
So I turn back to the road,
A fogbound road I cannot see.

So later never arrives,
It is a myth, a fantasy.
And so I struggle to survive,
Yet I go on in agony.
