Laurens dental appointment

Sitting in the waiting room
We are going on a train
My Grand daughter has an appointment
At the orthodontist again

It is persistently peeing down
I’m hoping that its stops
The forecast doesn’t look that good
We will end up being three wet sops

We got on our train at platform E
We eventually find our seats
Ah grand the floor heaters on
It will help to dry out feets

Only an hour then
we will be at the city
Edinburgh is so stunning
But its raining what a pity

The Christmas market is lovely
I go to browse through it every year
Its one of the best I’ve been to
Full of festive gifts & cheer

Ah well after her teeth appointment
We will spend our day having fun
It will be a bonus if this rain changes to sun

Chuggety chuggin’ past the station
What panaramic pretty views
I spy the salty sea on the righthand side
With the sky reflecting hues

Our Cheviot hills are on our left
Looking out the left panes
With lots of sheep following each other down the valley lanes

I always enjoy my journey
On this coastal line
So full of adventurous scenery
It is a favourite route of mine
