Leap of Faith

The pain never fades,
The days they never change,
Being in this world,
Feels nothing but strange.

Long nights spent searching,
An answer to this curse,
Struggling so bad,
Always getting worse.

The answer is never found,
Noone is there to save you,
Soon you will hit the ground,
So you pray.

You climb up those stairs,
Step after step,
Your body is moving,
But your mind you have left.

The cold chills your bones,
When you open the door,
Soul has been lost,
For now and evermore.

The stars they shine bright,
As you walk to the ledge,
Lean over slowly,
Then start to beg.

Knees start to tremble,
Along with those lips,
Inch yourself closer,
Feet start to slip.

You stand on stone wall,
Arms spread out wide,
Your body moves forward,
At least you have tried.

Soon you´ll feel nothing,
Noone left behind,
When you start falling,
A whisper leaves your mind.
