 I can't stop thinking

Negative thoughts, in my head, 

I'm sat on the sofa

I should be in bed

Upstairs you are snoring

And...... fast asleep

Whilst I'm contemplating

what thoughts, I should keep

You came upstairs earlier

But paid me no heed

you don't seem to realise

It's real love,  I need

I need you to hold me,

please...... say those three words

But you say I'm childish, clingy.....absurd

So here I'm sat thinking

Listening to you breathe

In pondering the ways

I'll ask you........to leave
