Leave

Leave

Life today, has applied for
A day’s leave tomorrow.
An old memory of yore
Is returning to visit after an age.
It might take a while to find her,
Says life,
Amidst the many arriving memories.
But soon as I find her, holding her hand
I’ll lead her to the ruins of that moment
Where she had last left me and left;
Hoping, for perhaps a few pauses
That ruin might once again flourish alive.

An old memory of yore

Good or bad?? Painful either way, I suppose.

Considered and elegant...as your writing always is.

Shukriya so much for your generosity Jason! :)
It is just a memory which has stayed, and is important enough to take a break for, I suppose.
