Leaving The Underworld

These newly found feelings just seem to fit !

Life had led me from grace with a bruising hit.

The underworld which I inhabited left me cold.

It was volatile hell frequented only by the bold.

This excuse for Gods work gave in to temptation,

Fuelled by hate, intent on wreaking devastation !

There seemed no purpose anyone could recognize.

Then, came your beautiful smile to bring surprise.

You offered me reasons to connect with humanity,

A spirit guide taking me to an impossible liberty !

Now, I find nirvana where I have become softened,

Knowing you're the best thing that ever happened !
