Poem -

Left In the War of Life

I don’t get why I am still on this earth if people going to treat me like they are.

I don’t get my life I understand why it is that I am the one to be treated like this.

Abused and Left for someone elses problem like I’m moss in a house,

like I am some trash that’s been out in the dump, and forgotten about.

Like I’m a glass of water that someone doesn’t want to finish, and is

dump down the drain, following a flow of water through and out to the river,

and into the Ocean. To be left there alone. Never to be seen again.

All alone without you down the drain, throughout the river and into the Ocean.

A glass window in a hurricane fighting her way not to break when she does

she know's she's lost the battle, the war, she's stabbed throughout her life.

She's been left to fight the war, the black coats, the broken torn life she has made it

through may be a soon end.
