Why does the crack of dawn turn to darkened dusk so easily ?
Those precious minutes from my life on earth are passing me by much too speedily
Doesn’t that timelessness of permanence steal our existence so greedily ?
Oh if only we could slow our seconds down well this would mean the world to me...

Heavens above there just isn’t enough hours in any day
And yes I realise that those minutes on my old Grandfather’s clock turns with accuracy come what may
But “OH MY GIDDIANT!!!” Well this is all that I can say
I feel llike I am forever rushing around upon a rollercoaster betwixt an express railway...

Alas I haven’t got a clue how sixty one years have sped so fast
And Oh my God I will be sixty two as soon as early springtime has passed
Now this very thought is unbelievable and totally aghast!!
Dam and blitherations...If only clocks could lessen up a little of that momentum... time would eke out at long last....

Jill how well you write it down in words that sadly ring true.
As a kid waiting for Crimbo would take forever, now as we get it older its a blink of an eye. and the big day is the quickest of the year.
Time is cruel when we get older but also kind and without we couldn't enjoy the great and happy times for a child's birthday or seeing their eyes light up the first time they see a Christmas tree in all its glory.

I can’t recall thisun haha my memory is useless teehee 🤣🥲its like if I go back thru my olduns when I started 2 yrs ago sat in hospital waiting room with my sister & her cancerous mole( that was first ever) lol but when I read my others I cannot believe I wrote them lol coz no recollection at all🤣😍😂🥲
